I never doubted our country! the U.S. always has a way to get back into the game. i am glad to hear that we are making a recovery i mean we hit a few bumps but either way we had the spirit to spend our money to help the economy out.

I agree with this statement of raising UC tuition is good because it is actually benefiting schools like St Mary's as a private school our tuition is high enough and as the tuition for the UC's keep raising then more people would want to come to colleges like St Mary's so looking at a private schools perspective it is a good thing.

I think this is great news because i know at least 4 people that have claimed that they are jobless and the process of actually getting a check for unemployment is pretty serious now, so hearing that people are now beginning to get jobs and not claim they are jobless is a plus for California especially.

I think we can say that Vizio is the underdog for t.v's i mean i would expect people to be buying Sony's and Toshiba's but when you really read about how good of a quality Vizio is then it's a deal!

We are never going to get out of this economic slump if we don't buy. People are intimidated to spend their money at times like this when the future doesn't look so bright. Everyone is holding on to what they make in case things get worse. Hopefully things will slowly start looking up (like the new and improved unemployment rate) and people will feel comfortable to spend more money.

It is uplifting to hear this but we have to remember this number 12.5% is still very high. Hopefully the worst is over and more jobs will open up. However economics are unpredictable.

I agree with Evan Schlinkert in the sense that people are in class to learn and that protesting the rising cost is a bad idea because school is a priveledge. The rising costs also don't affect me personally because I too attend a private school but I feel if you don't want to pay for college, DON'T. No one is forcing college down your throat. They need to keep the prices reasonable so there is equal opportunity to attend UCs but with more money in the budget schools will be able to make students' learning experiences even better.

By lowering the price of a universally wanted object the demand rose immensely and Vizio was there to meet that demand. Everyone wants an hdtv, but buying one that is both good and quality and light on your wallet makes it a hot item for holiday shopping.

It's great news when you hear less people are filing for unemployment. But what are they really talking about here? Are they just counting first time filers? how many of those first timers have refiled? and how many of them were able to file? honestly the filing system sucks. If you answer anything wrong the whole file goes to crap and it takes even longer to get through the process if allowed. I don't beleive the numbers are really changing much but if it is "great". What we really need to focus on is how many people have gone back to work? As we speak people are still getting laid off and unfortunately (or fortunately for them) will be filing for unemployment.

I love vizio. Bought a 46" hdtv over the summer. Works great, paid about half the price name brands were asking for that particular size. I know when a company puts out a great product for a low price, it will be a success story for the company. I hope they will be able to keep up with the reasonable prices and not get too outrageous because they've hit it big.
