California will Delay $3 Billion in Payments in February

It’s official, California will delay $3 billion in payments next month. State tax refunds and many health and welfare programs will take the hit first. It’s time for California’s politicians to pass a budget!!!

State Controller John Chiang said today that the state’s cash crunch would allow him to make school, college and some welfare payments but would force him to delay $3-plus billion in other payments, including those for state income tax refunds and many health and welfare programs.

This should be a crime and i am pretty sure that it is. The politicians should be removed and penalized.
